Committed For A Lifetime

Text: Proverbs 16:3,4 "Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil."
Psa. 37:5 "Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass."

Introduction: Commitment is one of the words most people would like to remove from their dictionaries. Let go one step further to say that most people would like to remove it from their life style. God's Word teaches that we should be committed in everything we do.

I. Committed To God
A. Salvation - Giving yourself to God by faith! A Commitment! A New Way of Life.
B. Service - Serving Him! Living for Him!
C. Sacrifice - Time, talent, tithe!

II. Committed To Your Church - Acts 2:42-47
A. Attendance - Support
B. Contribution - God loves a cheerful giver!
C. Service - I Cor. 3:9,10 "For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. 10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon."

III. Committed To Your Mate
A. Marriage - Eph. 5:25 "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
B. Partnership
C. Lifetime

IV. Committed To Your Job

WE ONLY TEACH AND PREACH FROM THE KING JAMES BIBLE

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any
twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of
soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner
of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12
