Text: Rev. 4:11 “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

Intro: God created mankind for His pleasure. He loves watching His children grow and transform into His likeness.

I. God Planted Us – Gen. 2:7 “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
A. He Planted Us To Watch Us Grow
B. He Gave Us Life
C. He Is A Master Gardener

II. God Waters Us – Ps. 63:1 “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;”
A. Everyone Is Born Dry And Thirsty Spiritually
B. God Waters His Creation
1. Word of God
2. Preaching
3. Holy Spirit
C. Sends The Rain –
D. Isa. 44:3,4 “For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: 4And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.”

III. God Feeds Us
A. Ex: The Israelites In The Wilderness
B. With Milk At First
C. 1 Peter 2:2,3 “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.”
D. Then With Meat
E. 1 Cor. 3:2 “I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?”

IV. God Prunes Us
A. John 15:1,2 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.”
B. God Removes The Dead Un-fruitful Wood From Our Lives
C. Sometimes It Hurts
D. It Is For Our Good

V. God Protects Us
A. Job 1:10 “Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.”
B. Keeps The Enemy Back
C. He Shelters Us From The Storms

VI. God Harvests Us
A. Mat. 9:37 “Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
B. Read: Mat. 13:24 – 30 & 36 - 43
C. Rev. 14:15 “Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

Conclusion: Where will you stand in the harvest?
